Housing Board

I’m a 38 year old female with an adorable, well behaved scruffy dog named Briggs. I rent in NW Denver and am looking to rent the second bedroom in my house. I’ve lived in the same house for the past seven years and am allowed to sublease the extra room. I was recently laid off due to a workforce reduction, but worked in real estate until that happened. Now I’m a full time dog mom who is job hunting and working on starting my own business.

Looking for a clean and courteous female roommate hopefully in or around the same stage of life. No additional pets are allowed per lease, but you can get lots of love from Briggie Smalls once he warms up to you. No drugs or pot use allowed on property per lease. No overnight boyfriends, because it’s just awkward. I’m open to overnight friends staying every so often and have an air mattress. I’d love someone who enjoys being friends with their housemate even while we live our own lives. I prefer to not have someone who locks themselves in their room all the time.

Two bed/1bath house (not a basement) with washer and dryer. Room is furnished with a queen size, cozy Murphy bed, dresser and night stand. The closet can hold a surprising amount. Street parking (free). Some outside storage, but not a ton. Small front yard with a patio space. Five blocks off Tennyson Street where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, shops, live music and first Fridays. Walkable to grocery store and convenient to downtown.
Length of lease is negotiable and flexible.
