Private Bed and Bath in New Community of Neurotypical and Neurodiverse Adults
Affordable living opportunity while making a difference in a young woman’s life! We’re looking for someone to provide social support and mentorship to a 26-year-old young woman with disabilities. She is living independently with supports from a service agency; no services would be required from the roommate – this is not a job! We’re looking for kind companionship and social presence, and someone to champion her in achieving her goals and her participation in community events.
Our daughter is compassionate, kind-hearted, and loves people. She enjoys spending time with those to whom she feels connected, and yet needs support with navigating and sustaining social connections. She loves her church and family, sports (Broncos! Avs! Summit FC!), human interest stories, and caring for children. She is currently seeking a job caring for others.
Trailhead Community is a brand new, 80-unit, controlled-access building of neurotypical and neurodiverse adults. Trailhead offers 24/7 on-site staffing, a community dining room with a commercial kitchen (affordable meals offered Monday – Friday), common recreation space, craft room, media room, gymnasium, and fitness room. Regularly scheduled community activities include bingo, crafts, movies, and music concerts. More information about Trailhead Community can be found at trailheadcommunity.org.
This opportunity is a low time commitment – the role is ideal for full-time students or those with full-time employment.
